How to solve the deformation problem of silicone molds?

Firstly, you should choose suitable silicone for your molds. In principle, the Shore A of the silicone should be consistent to the size of the products. For the small size with fine patterns, the soft silicone can be applicable. And larger size with simple patterns will need hard silicone. Here are some standards for your reference-
1. Fine patters with size less than 30cm, Shore A should be below 20. (small plaster decorative items usually use 10-20 Shore A, soap/candle usually us 5-10 Shore A)
2.Product size 30-60cm, 20-25 Shore A will be good.
3. Product size 60-90cm, 30-35 Shore A will be great.
4. Product size more than 1M, 40 Shore A will be needed

Secondly, for the heavy and large products, such as concrete, stone, resin products. External mold is very necessary to protect the silicone mold from deformation. The external molding material can be resin, plaster.
